Before You Travel

Passport

• Don't forget your passport! Check your airline's website or app before your flight, as many airlines allow (or require) you to enter your passport information before checking in.

Phone Service

  • Check with your mobile carrier before traveling to confirm your plan includes coverage in Mexico.

  • Many U.S. carriers offer service simply by enabling Data Roaming once you arrive. Don't forget to disable Data Roaming once you return to the United States (if applicable).

Currency?

  • Credit cards are accepted at most restaurants, hotels, and shops.

  • ATMs are readily available throughout the city, and you can withdrawal pesos using a United States checking account.

Travel & Transportation

What’s the best airport to fly into?

  • We recommend flying into Mexico City International Airport - MEX (AICM - Benito Juárez).

Airport Transportation

  • Uber is our recommended option for transportation to and from the airport, as well as around Mexico City.

  • The Marquis Reforma (our hotel block) also offers airport transportation, which can be arranged directly through the hotel before your arrival.

Wedding Day Transportation & Traffic

  • Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue at the Marquis Reforma.

  • We strongly recommend avoiding the Polanco neighborhood on the wedding day. Traffic can become extremely congested, and it can take hours to travel just a few miles between Polanco and the Roma Norte/Condesa area, where both our hotel block and wedding venue are located.

Dress Code

Rompe Hielo/The Night Before Attire (Friday, July 10, 2026?

  • Cocktail attire.

  • We love vibrant summer colors for this event.

Wedding Day Attire (Saturday, July 11, 2026?

The dress code is black tie, which traditionally means formal evening wear, tuxedos for men and floor-length gowns for women.

That said, we encourage you to have fun with it! Feel free to incorporate vibrant colors, bold prints, and luxurious textures. Think classic sophistication with a splash of summer energy and personality. We can't wait to see you looking fabulous!

Will the Terrain Affect my Shoe Choice?

The ceremony will take place outdoor garden, and there’s a short walk from the entrance to the ceremony site along a slightly uneven, stone paved pathway. If you’re confident in stilettos, wear them out, but we highly recommend block heels or wedges for a more graceful walk.

Should I avoid certain colors?

We’d love it if you avoided white, ivory, or anything too close.

Photos & Updates

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that you keep phones tucked away and enjoy the moment with us. Our officiant will invite a brief moment when photos are welcome.
